The Alabama High School Athletic Association Central Regional Basketball Tournament Class 7A and Class 1A girls’ and boys’ championship games scheduled for today have been postponed, AHSAA Executive Director Steve Savarese announced Tuesday. The Class 1A games, cancelled earlier today, have been re-scheduled for Thursday afternoon’s final session with the girls tipping off at 4 p.m., and the boys at 5:45. All other games remain as scheduled, and other regional sites are continuing as scheduled. The AHSAA will continue to monitor the weather conditions. Any changes in the schedules will be posted at www.ahsaa.com and should updates become necessary, that information will also be posted.
