Raycom to Televise Pinson Valley vs. Clay-Chalkville in AHSAA Playoff Game of the Week

MONTGOMERY – Raycom Network, the AHSAA TV partner, will televise the Class 6A football semifinal playoff game between Pinson Valley (11-1) and Clay-Chalkville (12-1) Friday night live over its Raycom network of stations and the Bounce Channel.      The NFHS Network’s live-stream subscriber-based network will feature seven school-produced live-streamed playoff contests with the Saraland ((12-1) vs. Wetumpka (11-2) Class 6A semifinal at Wetumpka being featured with the Saraland High School NFHS Network School Broadcast Program producing the contest. The game will also be the AHSAA corporate partner ALFA’s Playoff Game of the Week.
     There will be at least one live-streamed contest over the NFHS Network Friday in each class this week but Class 5A. Demopolis High School’s SBP will produce Maplesville (12-1) at Linden (12-0) in Class 1A: Thomas & Thomas Wiregrass Sports will produce the Class 2A Crenshaw County battle featuring Luverne (12-1) at Highland Home (12-1); WELR The Eagle’s Nest will produce the Class 3A semifinal featuring Region 6 rivals Randolph County (12-1) at Piedmont (11-2); Andalusia and UMS-Wright SBP programs will both produce the Class 4A, Region 1 rivals Andalusia (9-4) and UMS (12-0)  at Mobile; and Pinson Valley High School’s SBP will also produce the defending state champion Indians (11-1) and Jeffco rival Clay-Chalkville (12-1) at Pinson.
     Radio/internet audio broadcast coverage will include 23 productions – including three affiliates carrying the Class 2A Luverne at Highland Home game; the Class 3A Providence Christian at Flomaton and Randolph County at Piedmont semifinals; and the Class 4A semifinals featuring Andalusia at UMS-Wright and Oneonta at Deshler.
   The NFHS Network will also live-stream the AHSAA State Swimming and Diving Championships at Auburn University this weekend as well as 43boys’ and girls’ middle school, junior varsity and varsity basketball games tonight through Saturday and two wrestling matches this weekend for a total of 49 events available to NFHS Network subscribers.
